How to Update Google Chrome

Unlike Mozilla Firefox, and Microsoft Internet Explorer, there is no automatic notification, or automatic installer, to update Google Chrome. Perhaps Google wanted to be less intrusive by defaulting for Chrome users to do updates manually.

Knowing people in general, when something isn’t done automatically, it gets put on a to-do list until it is forgotten completely, or until some bug creeps up and bites us.

The only option is to manually update Google Chrome, which should be done once a week, or once a month, depending on what suits your schedule.

Open Google Chrome web browser. Now click the wrench in the top right corner of the window, then click About Google Chrome.
